È in fase di avvio il progetto per la realizzazione del Museo virtuale dedicato a Mario Tobino e alla storia e all´attualità del disagio sociale e mentale. Il Museo, realizzato anche in inglese, sarà alla base di un Forum internazionale che punterà a raccogliere la comunità scientifica e a fare di Maggiano, di Lucca e della Toscana il centro di eccellenza della memoria e del futuro dell´assistenza psichiatrica.

The Virtual Museum project, conceived as a tribute to Mario Tobino and to the history and relevance of social and mental disorders, is now in the process of being started off. The Museum, which has also been realised in English, will act as starting point to an international forum aiming at gathering together the whole scientific community as well as at turning Maggiano, Lucca and Tuscany into the main points of reference with regards to the past history and the future of psychiatric help.
